All prices on Flowers by the Bay.com.au are listed in Australian dollars (Aud).

Flowers

While we aim to match the arrangements pictured on this site to your order, this is not always possible due to seasonal influences, design interpretation and availability of flowers and accessories.  Therefore our pictures should be used as a guide only.  If we need to substitute flowers we will  choose equal or greater value to those shown.

Alcohol

Alcohol cannot be delivered to or accepted by any person under the age of 18 or left at a delivery address unattended.  Some states require florists to hold a special licence to deliver alcohol with flowers and not all of our agents are able to obtain such licences.  In those cases where we cannot send alcohol we will increase the order by the equivalent value in flowers unless advised otherwise.

Delivery

Orders received up to 10am AEST can generally be delivered the same day – Monday to Friday.  We unfortunately cannot deliver on  Sundays or public holidays.   In the unlikely event that an order is not received, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange another delivery.  However, if you have supplied us with incorrect details we may have to charge another fee for the collection and re-delivery.  If the recipient is not home when we try to deliver, unless you have advised us otherwise, our couriers will leave the flowers in a safe spot or if this is not possible they will return the flowers to the florist who made them where the recipient may collect the flowers at their convenience.  

GST (Good & Services tax)

Our products and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.  All prices advertised are inclusive of all taxes applicable to the respective countries that the product is being delivered in.  This is a broad based tax on consumption, which applies to the supply of most goods and services.

Care Instructions

At Flowers by the Bay.com.au we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services.  It is important to remember that flowers are a perishable, natural product that will react to its immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. 

Care instructions must be followed thoroughly in order to increase the life span and enjoyment of your flowers.  If you are sending the flowers to someone other than yourself we can e-mail further care instructions to that person. To assist in prolonging their life, we recommend cutting the stems on a sharp angle before putting them in fresh water as well as changing the water every two days.  Air conditioning, extreme heat or changes in climate may also have an adverse effect on the flowers. We recommend the flowers are not placed in direct sunlight, particularly in the warmer months.

On average the flowers should last between 3 and 7 days.  Should your flowers perish within three (3) days of delivery, we will be happy to resend new flowers.  To assist in our quality control, it is our policy to collect the original flowers upon delivery of your resend.  Regretfully, we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of, thereby making them unavailable for our florists to assess the cause of the problem.
